Sleep is one of the best practices for healthy mind, body, and soul.

However, most of us are sleep deprived! Dr. Don Colbert says get seven to nine hours of sleep per night.  Here are a few compelling reasons to put effort into sleeping more or improving the quality of your sleep:

1)  Sleep regulates release of important hormones.

2)  Sleep slows the aging process

3)  Sleep boosts the immune system.

4)  Sleep improves brain function.

5)  Sleep reduces cortisol levels.

Rather than spending money, time and energy attempting to gain these five important states of well being – GET MORE REST the natural way.    This is such an important topic, we will devote several Wise up Wednesdays together getting sleep smart.

Work shall be done for six days, but the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD.
