Wise-up Wednesday: Garbage in, Garbage Grows

What you think about matters to your quality of life and has an effect on others.

My Mind Mapping mentor, author and creator of Mind Maps, Tony Buzan says, “Garbage in, garbage grows.”  This is because our brain receives information and generates every thought electrically and chemically making a physical imprint on our brain.  Even incorrect information “sticks” or makes an imprint on our brain.

Therefore, put positive life-giving information into your thoughts, creating a helpful roadmap on your brain, rather than “toxic thoughts” as Dr. Caroline Leaf, Neuroscientist labels these thoughts which are based on fear.
