Wise-up Wednesday: You are What you Think


Every thought you have ever had is recorded permanently on your brain. 

The thoughts you have repeated have more of a prominent pathway, literally imprinted on your brain.  The more you think a thought the more likely it is to become a habit because it becomes the path of least resistance.

So what shapes our self-talk?

Is your self talk positive or negative?

Truth-filled or a lie?

Your brain is more likely to respond and thrive where your self-talk is positive and truthful, because your brain is success and truth seeking.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things. Philippians 4:8 NIV
